Bako Sahakyan welcomes round table attendees
On 15 September Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the opening of "Political Parties in Modern Democratic Systems" Round Table launched in Stepanakert and delivered there a welcoming address.
Political parties represented in the NKR and RA parliaments were present at the event.

"Dear participants of the event,
I welcome all the attendees of the "Political Parties in Modern Democratic Systems" round table and express my satisfaction with such a significant event being held in Artsakh.
The role of political parties, their close cooperation in the solution of Pan-Armenian issues, such as the Artsakh problem and the recognition of the Armenian Genocide is also of utmost significance. These are issues, which require an integrated approach and coherent work.
Quite a favorable atmosphere has been established in Artsakh both for the deepening ties between political parties and their cooperation with the authorities. We consider it to be a great achievement, which must be maintained and developed on a steady basis.
From this perspective "Political Parties in the Contemporary Democratic Systems" round table can have its worthy contribution to the processes we consider very much important for our country.
I am confident that the round table will accomplish its tasks successfully. I wish all of you fruitful work and all the best".
