Counterfeit case sent to court

The RA Special Investigative Service has ended the preliminary investigation on the counterfeit case brought up against Junior Superintendent of the RA State Maintenance Service. The prosecutor in charge of procedural management has affirmed the accusatory speech.

Based on the preliminary investigation, Junior Superintendent of the RA State Maintenance Service T. Hakobyan confiscated particularly large amounts of property from citizen L. Kesoyan.

From October 2010 to August 2011, T. Hakobyan has taken a total of 3,598,127 drams and items from his acquaintance, L. Kesoyan by tricking him and taking advantage of his trust with different kinds of excuses and explanations. Later, T. Hakobyan has never returned the items and has confiscated them.

Based on the evidence obtained, T. Hakobyan has been charged under Article 178 (3) (1) of the RA Criminal Code. The case has been sent to the Kentron and Nork-Marash districts' general jurisdiction court, reports the RA Prosecutor General Office's press service.
