Tehran-Armenians mourn Vahe’s death
The tragic death of military doctor Vahe Avetyan beaten to death at Harsnakar Restaurant has shocked all Armenians around the world.
Armenians in Iran have decided to hold a mass requiem for Major of the RA Armed Forces Vahe Avetyan at St. Sargis Church in Tehran, repots Hyeli.net.
Armenians abroad have also started holding protests and candle-lighting vigils in front of the Armenian representations in Los Angeles and Berlin.
We remind that on June 17, military doctors were brutally beaten at Harsnakar Restaurant. Due to a severe head injury Vahe Avetyan underwent two operations and was in an unconscious state until the last moment before his death.
A criminal case has been instigated and 6 have been arrested.
