Soldier awarded posthumously
President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan has signed a decree to confer a posthumous award on Aram Gyulnazaryan, a machine gunner and private of the NKR Defense Army, for bravery shown while defending NKR state borders. Gyulnazaryan was awarded with Medal for Service in Battle.
Aram Gyulnazaryan (born in 1993) died of a gunshot wound on June 18 while on duty on the battle position at one of the military units of the NKR Defense Army. He died on the way to hospital.
