Italians in Syunik region
Nadia Pascual of Italy has been in Syunik region for only a couple of days, but she already pronounces the words "Goris", "Karahunj" and "Kapan" with an Armenian accent.
Pascual is in Armenia as part of the USAID Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness Program as a short-term consultant with the purpose of promoting eco-tourism in Syunik region.
Pascual says she sees Italians as future tourists visiting Syunik region, adding that there are now four direct flights from Italy to Armenia compared to only one flight years ago.
