Seyran Ohanyan assessed agreement
Support A1+!On June 5, the delegation led by Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilbek Jaksibekov paid an official visit to Armenia.
After the solemn reception at the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defense, Kazakh Minister of Defense Adilbek Jaksibekov had a meeting with RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, as well as the leadership of the RA Ministry of Defense and the Main Headquarters of the RA Armed Forces. During the meeting, the RA Minister of Defense awarded the Kazakh Defense Minister the "RA Armed Forces: 20 Years" anniversary commemorative medal.
The Armenian and Kazakh Defense Ministers signed an agreement "On Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
Answering journalists' questions after the signing, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan underlined that this agreement would give both countries the opportunity to collaborate in order to exchange, serve and renovate military technical equipment, as well as implement joint projects. In his turn, the Kazakh Minister of Defense expressed gratitude for the warm reception and mentioned that the signed agreement would serve as an important impetus for bilateral cooperation. Adilbek Jaksibekov informed that the bilateral military cooperation includes the spheres of military education and instruction, as well as exchange of experience and the military-technical sphere.
