Politician on trial for unlawful acts
Will politician Manvel Sargsyan be fined in the amount of AMD 50 000 or not.
The answer will be clear on June 8 when the Administrative Court announces its verdict.
The Court today heard the appeal against Manvel Sargsyan, Director of Armenian Centre for National and International Studies. The politician is accused of unlawful acts reportedly committed in Yerevan's Mashtots Park. The plaintiff states that on April 15 Manvel Sargsyan tried to intrude into one of the trade kiosks at the park.
Judge Aghasy Darbinyan did not allow the politician to present evidence proving the illegality of the kiosks. The judge did not allow videotaping the sitting either.
