Zhirayr Sefilyan not invited to military parade
Commander of the Shushi special detachment Zhirayr Sefilyan has not been invited to the military parade marking the 20th anniversary of the Shushi liberation. However, Sefilyan says he does not feel sad about it.
"They [authorities] fully understand that people like me need not be present there. They knew that we would not participate in that show even if they sent us an invitation. We do not admit their shows which resemble feasts during the plague," he said.
Zhirayr Sefilyan, who was involved in military operations since the very beginning of the war and has been given the highest awards for his service, has not received Armenian citizenship to this moment.
