Shushan Petrosyan: "Let them shut up!"
Deputy candidate of the Republican Party of Armenian (HHK), singer Shushan Petrosyan was infuriated with the words of Armenia's ex-premier Hrant Bagratyan who said during yesterday's rally held by the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK), "We made a dishonorable person our president."
"They had better shut up. Whoever became president, they would say the same. Serzh Sargsyan cares for his country; he simply needs time to get rid of the legacy of the past that was left for him," said the singer.
Regarding HAK's decision to dispute the outcome of the May 6 parliamentary elections in the Constitutional Court, Shushan Petrosyan said she did not take the decision seriously.
"The opposition is always dissatisfied with the results and is always challenging them [in court]," she said.
