Serzh Sargsyan pays tribute
On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Serzh Sargsyan today visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial and laid a wreath as a sign of tribute to the victims.
He also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, viewed the temporary exhibition called "Books as Eyewitnesses of Genocide", which includes nearly 300 print documents that serve as sources.
The exhibition is organized in light of the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing and the declaration of Yerevan as the 2012 World Book Capital. During the visit to the Museum-Institute, Serzh Sargsyan was introduced to the plan for the museum's new building with greater capacity.
