Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan has been informed that the employees of the territorial agencies of some social services have flaws and that they misuse their powers.
"I assure you all that the municipality will apply strict administrative mechanisms against those employees and will even dismiss them. The number one objective must be to raise the reputation of the structure since the activity of even one employee can cast a shade on all activities," said Taron Margaryan as he addressed the heads of agencies during a meeting today.
The mayor noted that there were certain issues and flaws in the system that make citizens complain and that that has a negative impact on regular activities.
The mayor also assigned the heads of territorial agencies to personally visit needy families, which will help identify the potential flaws of the inspectors and clarify the overall situation, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality.
