Artur Davtyan becomes best all-around gymnast
Armenian gymnast Artur Davtyan, who has qualified for 2012 Summer Olympic Games, became the winner in the men's all-around completion at the gymnastics championship held in Armenia.
Vahan Vardanyan and Vahagn Stepanyan came in second and third respectively.
Artur Davtyan, Vahagn Davtyan, Arthur Tovmasyan and Serob Soghomonyan thus qualified for the World Cup Tournament to be held in Qatar from March 25 to 30.
Talking to A1+, chief coach of the men's gymnastics team hakob Serobyan said the national and youth teams to partake at the 2012 European Championships in Montpellie are already known.
The national team includes Harutyun Merdinyan, Arthur Davtyan, Vahagn Davtyan, Vahan Vardanyan and Vahagn Stepanyan. The youth team is comprised of Armen Petrosyan, Aram Movsisyan and Vigen Khachatryan.
