New ‘financial’ opera to be staged in Europe
A group of German composers, ‘inspired' by the financial crisis in Greece and euro zone's troubled financial system, have decided to write a new opera.
They are going to present Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida" opera in a new version, with the main actions taking place at the European Central Bank.
The leading heroine is a student undergoing practical training.
