Lithuanian Minister for National Defense due in Armenia
On February 9, Armenian Ambassador to Lithuania Ara Ayvazyan had a meeting with Lithuania's Minister for National Defense, Rasa Juknevičienė.
The parties dwelt on bilateral relations, praising the high level of cooperation between the Defense Ministries of the two countries and attaching importance to further deepening ties.
The interlocutors discussed a number of issues of international and regional agenda, as well as questions of international security.
Minister Juknevičienė presented Lithuania's activity within the framework of international organizations, as well as the cooperation of the Baltic States with the Scandinavian region in the field of defense.
Ambassador Ayvazyan conveyed to Mrs. Juknevičienė Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan's invitation to visit Armenia. The invitation was accepted.
