Train derails in India, killing people
A passenger train derailed after hitting an earth-cutting vehicle at an unmanned railway crossing in Assam's Kamrup (Rural) district in India.
At least three people, including the driver of the vehicle, have been killed in the accident. The wheels of some of the derailed coaches broke and a portion of the railway tracks was damaged in the accident.
Hospitals have been treating at least 50 passengers injured in the accident and rescue operations are continuing.
