God hears Geghamyan's voice
By an edict of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Alexan Karapetyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Urban Development.
Alexan Karapetyan was born in Yerevan in 1950.
He is the vice-chairman of the National Unity party and one of the founders of the party. Since 2003, he has been member of the Armenian parliament delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and World Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Karapetyan was also chairman of the Armenia-Bulgaria Parliamentary Friendship Group, member of the Coordination Council of the International Association of Business and Parliament Armenian Office, member of GOPAC (Global Organization of Parliamentarians against Corruption) Armenian organization.
