Ruben Melikyan appointed Deputy Justice Minister

By an edict of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Ruben Melikyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

Ruben Melikyan was born in Yerevan in 1982.
He left N20 School after John Giragosian, then continued his studies at YSU Faculty of Law (baccalaureate, magistracy, postgraduate course).

I 2008, he took a six-month course Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy - Tufts University. Since 2003, he has been teaching at YSU Faculty of Law. In 2006, he was received PhD position in Legal Science and in 2010 - the title of Associate Professor.

In 2007-2012, Melikyan worked at the Court of Appeals as advisor to the judge, then as advisor to the chairman of the court.

He has written more than three dozen scientific works. He is not affiliated with any party.
