Prescott meets Ombudsman
RA Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan today received PACE Monitoring Committee Co-Rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott.
According to the Ombudsman's Office, during the meeting, "several issues, including the inquiry of the circumstances behind the 10 murders on March 1 and the ways of eliminating the effects, the preparations for the 2012 parliamentary elections and the reforms in the police system were discussed".
John Prescott praised the process of democratic reforms in Armenia. In his turn, the Ombudsman expressed willingness to support any initiative related to the issues discussed.
