Kuwait opens embassy in Armenia
Kuwait's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi, presented the copy of his credentials to Armenia Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Minister Nalbandian wished the Ambassador success in his mission, and noted that the opening of Kuwaiti embassy in Armenia would bring a new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation.
In his turn, Ambassador Alqabandi stressed that Kuwait is interested in deepening and expanding of relations with Armenia and promised to do his utmost to strengthen bilateral ties.
The parties also underscored the recent visit of Armenian Development Agency delegation to Kuwait, and the memorandum of understanding signed with the Kuwaiti investment company.
The Armenia's FM and Kuwait's Ambassador also dwelt on the latest developments in the Middle East.
