RA Control Chamber Chairman to visit Holland, Russia
On December 15, Chairman of the Armenian Control Chamber, Ishkhan Zakaryan, will leave for Holland on a working visit to meet with the co-chairmen of the Court of Audit (Algemene Rekenkamer).
Mr. Zakaryan will discuss the new proposals for technical assistance to the Armenian Control Chamber by the Court of Audits in 2012-2013. Dutch experts will examine Armenia's legislation on the Control Chamber and methods applied by the agency.
The cooperation between the Armenian Control Chamber and the Court of Audits was laid down in 2009 when the sides signed an agreement on technical cooperation.
In recent years, the sides have implemented a number of joint programs, which enhanced the development of the Armenian Control Chamber.
In cooperation with the Dutch side, the RA Control Chamber launched its official website, drafted an IT program, organized IDEA seminars on taxation and customs for its staff, and distributed IDEA software packages.
On December 18, Iskhan Zakaryan will leave for Moscow to meet with Sergei Stepashin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. the sides are expected to discuss joint programs for 2012.
