The fate of Armenian trucks at the Higher Lars passing point on the Russian-Georgian border remains unknown. The trucks have been at the passing point for a month due to, according to the official version, unfavorable climate.

"The road will open whenever the weather gets better. There are many dangerous sectors on the road," RA Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan said today.

According to the minister, there are not only 5-7 Armenian cargo company trucks, but also nearly 200 Georgian trucks stuck at the Higher Lars passing point, and most of the trucks are running out of fuel.

"We had informed them that there would be unfavorable climate starting in mid-November, and they had been advised not to drive," the RA Minister of Transport and Communication informed.

Tomorrow employees of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication will leave for Georgia to hold talks on creating a joint company, which will ensure the safety of bilateral transfers.
