"Jacques Faure is an experienced diplomat"
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Monday OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russia), and Bernard Fassier (France) and Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, who arrived in Yerevan on a regional visit.
Ambassador to Ukraine Jacques Faure, who will replace French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier in January, accompanied the group.
Future French co-chair, currently, whose visit hasn't been previously announced, accompanied the co-chairs.
During the meeting, discussions continued over the Karabakh conflict settlement process.
Minister Nalbandian called the mediators' attention to Azerbaijan's provocative actions on the contact line which resulted in new victims.
I have worked with Jacques Faure for a long time and I can assure you that he is an experienced diplomat," Bernard Fassier told journalists after the meeting. "Look, what a wonderful beard he has!"
