Armenian FM meets EP member
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received member of the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin.
The Armenian Foreign Minister stressed that expansion of cooperation with the European Union is a priority of Armenia's foreign policy and the frequency of the reciprocal visits and meetings in the recent period is an evidence of this.
The sides discussed the current stage of talks on association agreement, cooperation within the framework of Euronest.
Edward Nalbandian and Kristian Vigenin emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, noting that it provides an effective platform for dialogue and mutual understanding.
The two officials also touched upon international and regional problems. At the request of his guest, Edward Nalbandian briefed the EU MP on the recent developments in the Karabakh peace process.
