Transfer of radioactive materials prevented
The National Security Service of Armenia has prevented leakage of radioactive material.
RA citizens Karen Danielyan, Ararat Hakobyan, Karen Edigaryan and Tigran Hovhannisyan were detained during the transfer of a radioactive substance called strontium.
A criminal action has been lodged under part 1 of Article 233 of the RA Criminal Code (illegal possession and sale of radioactive materials), the NSS press office reported.
