Armenia’s Ambassador meets IAEA Director General
Armenia's Permanent Representative at International Organizations of Vienna, Arman Kirakosyan had a meeting with Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to hand him a letter of appointment from Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
The Director General expressed his satisfaction over the cooperation between Armenia and IAEA. He also reflected on IAEA's joint projects with Armenia and other issues of mutual interest.
In his turn, Ambassador Kirakosyan praised the cooperation with the IAEA and dwelt upon technical cooperation programs and construction of a new energy unit.
The interlocutors also discussed the latest developments in the region, the RA MFA press service reported.
