Armenian weightlifting team continues training for the World Weightlifting Championships which kicks off in Paris on November 5, Armenian National Olympic Committee reports.

The Armenian women's weightlifting team led by chief coach Artashes Nersisyan is training in the city of Abovyan. The team will be represented by Isabella Yaylyan (53 kg), Meline Daluzyan (69 kg), Hripsime Khurshudyan, Naira Harutyunyan (75 kg),
The men's team led by chief coach Poghos Poghosyan is training in Podolsk, Russia. The team will be represented Vanik Avetisyan, Samvel Grigoryan (both 69 kg), Arakel Mirzoyan, Tigran Martirosyan (77 kg), heavyweights Hayk Hakobyan and Ruben Alexanyan.
The Armenian delegation will be led by the President of the Weightlifting Federation, Samvel Khachatryan who said that the most important is to qualify for the Olympic Games.

Our athletes are in a good shape and we should pray for them to win more medals in the camperships," he said.
