Nalbandyan receives Igor Petrishenko

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan on November 1 received Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko who is in Armenia to participate in the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries.

Greeting Igor Petrishenko, Minister Nalbandyan underlined with satisfaction that the warm ties between Armenia and Belarus are continuously developing in all spheres of cooperation.

"It should be mentioned that the document on consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs that was signed two months ago is already being implemented, and that goes to show the real efficiency of our collaboration," Edward Nalbandyan said.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Igor Petrishenko conveyed the greetings and good wishes of Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergey Martinov. During the meeting, both sides stressed that the high-level political dialogue, the reciprocal visits, the economic partnership, the parliamentary ties, the decentralized cooperation and cultural exchanges provide the opportunity for further deepening of the friendship between both nations.

The interlocutors mentioned the presence of a broad juridical-contractual field and stressed the need for further expansion of it.

The MFA department of press, information and public relations reports that Edward Nalbandyan and Igor Petrishenko also touched upon steps being taken for further activation of bilateral trade-economic partnership.
