Armenian NPP Director holding consultation
Director of Metsamor-based Armenian Nuclear Power Plant has convened a sitting on Friday to decide the fate of the plant's 158 employees who submitted their resignations after the plant administration failed to meet their demand for 50% salary increase.
Currently, the plant's director is holding a consultation to consider the employees' demand.
The average salary in the plant is AMD 210 000, but the employees say they are ready to leave Armenia and find jobs abroad. They believe they will be paid more overseas as they are professionals in the sphere.
