CIS member states sign agreement in St. Peterburg

An Armenian delegation headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the recurrent sitting of the Heads of Governments of CIS member states in Saint Petersburg.

The heads of the governments signed an agreement on establishing free trade zone between the CIS member countries, discusses the strategy of joint economic projects as well as implementation of programs for 2012-2015.

Heads of the governments also discussed issues relating to the provision of social and health assistance to veterans of World War II and their families, establishment of joint air defense system and other issues.

Reference was made to the 2012 joint budget of the CIS member states.
