Sargsyan receives Assistant to Secretary of State
Serzh Sargsyan today received U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Arms Control Verification and Compliance Rose Gottemoeller.
Sargsyan underlined that Armenia continues viewing the agreement on Synchronized Armed Forces Europe (SAFE) as one of the pillars of security and stability in Europe and stays true to the goals and spirit of the agreement. According to Sargsyan, Armenia will continue implementing the obligations stated in the agreement by placing importance on the fulfillment of obligations set in the mentioned document in the sphere of arms control in the South Caucasus, the violation of which has already become a serious danger for the entire region.
