Evans praises Armenia’s contribution
Head of Armenia's mission to NATO Armen Yedigaryan had a meeting with newly appointed Director of the NATO Actions Subdivision, assistant to the Secretary General, Ambassador Steven Evans.
The sides discussed issues related to the support to the NATO-led international security in Afghanistan, the participation of Armenia's regiments in the missions held in Kosovo, the transference of responsibility of governance in Afghanistan and regional security.
Ambassador Steven Evans praised Armenia's contribution to the NATO-led peacekeeping efforts and the Armenian side's willingness to continue fulfilling its obligations, reports the MFA press service.
