New U.S. Ambassador Presents Credentials
The newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, today presented his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that Ambassador Heffern would further strengthen U.S.-Armenia relations.
In turn, Ambassador Heffernan noted that the U.S.
administration placed great importance on developing comprehensive mutual cooperation with Armenia and promised to do his best to deepen bilateral ties during his term in office.
The Armenian Foreign Minister highly appreciated U.S. involvement in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict as an OSCE Minsk group co-chair country.
