Armenian FM receives Sheik Al-Shamali
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Minister of Finance of Kuwait, Mustafa Jassem Al-Shamali, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the first sitting of the Armenian-Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission.
Minister Nalbandian said the relations between the two countries have been dynamically developing after Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's visit to Kuwait in 2009. According to the Armenian FM, the establishment of the Intergovernmental commission will further promote the development of bilateral ties.
Mustafa Jassem Al-Shamali noted, in turn, that the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Kuwait last year gave new impetus to the development of cooperation, and the authorities of his country are interested in deepening the mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia. Therefore, it has been decided to open an Embassy in Yerevan, the RA MFA press service reports.
