PM receives Nabih Berri
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today received Chairman of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Brri who is on an official visit to Armenia.
Greeting the guest, the Prime Minister expressed certainty that Nabih Berri's visit to Armenia will bring a new sweep to the development of bilateral relations in different directions.
According to the department of information and public relations of the RA Government, Tigran Sargsyan attached importance to the bilateral economic ties and mentioned that the volumes of trade circulation "don't correspond to the level of high-level Armenian-Lebanese political relations".
"The conditions in Armenia's financial sphere are favorable for Lebanon's investments. We express regret that the Lebanese Prime Minister's visit to Armenia was cancelled, but we reaffirm the invitation to visit our country," Prime Minister Sargsyan said.
In his turn, Nabih Berri informed that the Lebanese President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister would be visiting Armenia soon.
According to Chairman of the Parliament of Lebanon, the local Armenian community makes a great contribution to the country's development and is a strong, reliable bridge between the two friendly countries and nations.
