Homes on sale in Gyumri
Gyumri has seen the rise of real estate sales since August, particularly the rise of the number of transactions.
Homes at a medium or low price are sold more quickly. Head of the State Cadastre's Gyumri subdivision Ara Arakelyan says many citizens of Gyumri have auctioned their homes and the number is on the rise.
The Cadastre representatives say the real estate market started developing in March with 100 transactions that became an unprecedented indicator compared to previous years.
The homes are mainly given for rent. According to the Migration Information Center in Shirak province, most of the families selling homes in Gyumri are those who have left for abroad in search of jobs, return, buy homes, given them for rent and leave again.
