NKR President participates in hotel opening ceremony
The high-class Grand Hotel opened in Shushi on September 1 with the participation of President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan.
Sahakyan considered the handing of the hotel that corresponds to international standards important in terms of the city's development and the transition of the city to a center for tourism.
Bako Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the Lebanese-Armenian and Armenian-American benefactors who funded construction of the hotel, underlining that the combined efforts of all Armenians is of pan-national significance for Shushi's development.
Among other participants were Prelate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Parkev Martirosyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, other officials and guests from Armenia and abroad.
