T. Sargsyan: “We’re on the right path”
Within the framework of the visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, this morning Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the frontline positions of the Artsakh Defense Army. Accompanying the prime minister were Ministers of Defense of Armenia and the NKR Seyran Ohanyan and general-lieutenant Movses Hakobyan, as well as members of the governmental delegation.
The head of government talked to the soldiers and got acquainted with the conditions. The prime minister awarded watches to soldiers who had been courageous, dedicated and responsible throughout their military service.
Then, Tigran Sargsyan visited one of the military units of the Artsakh Defense Army and participated in soldiers' military drills. Addressing the soldiers, the prime minister mentioned: "Today your objective is to maintain the achievements that we have today and increase our army's efficiency. The Armenian government won't spare any efforts to ensure that you all have the opportunity to increase your level of efficiency, have good military knowledge and correspond to the standards of the world's best armies."
During a press conference, the prime minister mentioned that he was impressed by the soldiers' level of readiness. "We see that soldiers are proud, daring, organized and know what they are doing. They are professional, and that instills hope that our army's level of efficiency will increase day after day. That is the most important thing," said the head of government.
Touching upon the opponent's frequent belligerent declarations, the head of government mentioned that the best response to those declarations is the increase of the Armenian army's level of efficiency. "The processes taking place in the Armenian army are brilliant proof of the fact that we are on the right path," said the prime minister.
The delegation led by Tigran Sargsyan ended the visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and returned to Yerevan.
