Rafik Manukyan wins gold at Junior World Championships
Armenia Greco-Roman team won two medals at the Junior World Championships going on in Bucharest, Romania.
Rafik Manukyan (74 kg) won gold medal after four fights. In final the Armenian wrestler took a 0:2, 3:0, 4:2 victory against Georgia's Zurabi Datunashvili.
Rudik Mkrtchyan (50 kg) won bronze after losing to Azerbaijan's wrestler in the first fight and winning two victories in the following two fights.
On July 27, Narek Khachatryan (55kg), Hayk Arshakyan (66kg), Gevorg Manukyan (84kg) and Vachik Yeghiazaryan (120kg) will enter the contest.
