Armenia wins medal in EYOF
Armenian junior judo team won the first medal in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Trabzon, Turkey.
Armenia's Vahagn Hovhannisyan (50 kg) lost to Italy's Elios Manzi, the Champion of Europe 2011. However, Hovhannisyan was given a chance to compete for the third place. After two consecutive victories he won Azerbaijan's Sadikh Maharramov, taking bronze medal, President of the Armenian Judo Federation David Khitaryan reported.
