Armenian team leaves for China

Armenia's chess team, which ended trainings in Dilijan last Sunday, left for China to participate in the world team championship on July 17.

The Armenian team includes Levon Aronyan (1st chess board), Sergey Movsisyan (2nd chess board), Vladimir Hakobyan (3rd chess board), Gabriel Sargsyan (4th chess board) and Robert Hovhannisyan (5th chess board). The team's chief coach is Arshak Petrosyan.

The first of the participating teams to leave for China was the Russian team, while the Ukrainian and Azerbaijani teams will arrive tomorrow.

Let us add that the chess players from Israel, Hungary, China, India, the United States and Egypt will also compete for the world champion title.
