Andre Agassi to be inducted into Tennis Hall of Fame
Andre Agassi, who captured eight grand slam tournament titles, an Olympic gold medal, and the hearts of countless fans worldwide, will be inducted into Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport.
"I'm truly honored to be recognized alongside the greatest players of tennis," said Agassi. "My tennis career afforded me the opportunity to make a difference in other people's lives and it was truly special to share this exciting moment with the students of Agassi Prep. Tennis has given me everything in my life. It has given me my wife. It has given me my life's work by allowing me the resources to build this school," said the 41-year-old tennis player who is married to German tennis player Steffi Graf who was inducted into Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004.
