Levon Aronian comes 3rd in FIDE rating list
The World Chess Federation (FIDE) has published the rating list of the world top players.
Norway's Magnus Carlsen has advanced to the first position with 2821, followed by Indian GM Viswanathan Anand with 2817 points. Armenia's Levon Aronian maintained his position, ranking 3rd with 2805 points.
Armenia's GMs Sergey Movsisyan, Vladimir Hakobian and Gabriel Sargsian are correspondingly 42nd, 81st and 84th among the 100 best chess players.
