Restored rose garden to open at Botanical Gardens
On May 17, Yerevan's Botanical Gardens will host an opening ceremony of a restored rose garden. The project is financed by the Swiss Embassy in Armenia which invested 6 000 Euros in the program.
The site will contain 20 new sorts of roses and over 1100 other plantings. The original garden suffered greatly due to the energy crisis in Armenia in the 1990s.
