Vachik Vardanyan becomes European champion
Armenian sambo wrestlers have won five medals in combat sambo tournaments held in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports the press service of the Armenian Sambo Federation.
2010 world champion Vachik Vardanyan (68kg) became a European champion in combat sambo.
Another Armenian sambo wrestler, Andranik Naghdalyan (74 kg), settled for a bronze medal.
Armenia's fighters Ruzanna Sargsyan (48 kg), Tigran Kirakosyan (52 kg) and Ashot Danielyan (74 kg) became bronze medalists in sport sambo.
