Elina Danielyan suffers defeat at European Individual Women Chess Championship
Armenian Grandmaster Elina Danielyan tied her game against Georgia's Bela Khotenashvili in the 4th round of European Individual Women Chess Championship to take up the 2nd position with 3,5 points.
On May 11, Danielyan will face Lithuania's Victoria Cmilyte who tops the the tournament with 4 points.
Lilit Mkrtchyan and Lilit Galoyan also tied their games against Anastasia Savina (Russia) and Anna Ushenina (Ukraine) respectively.
Anna Hayrapetyan lost her game to retreat to the 56th position.
About 132 chess players from 26 countries are participating in the European Individual Women Chess Championship which is an 11-round Swiss tournament.
