Armenia’s 4 chess players among leading players
Armenia's chess players are performing well at the international big chess tournament in Dubai.
Chess masters Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Artashes Minasyan, Zaven Andriasyan and David G. Petrosyan won their opponents in the 2nd round and are in the leading group with 2 points each.
The matches of the third round took place today and among the most interesting matches are those with representatives from Armenia's neighboring countries. Zaven Andriasyan will face off against Azerbaijani Sarhan Guliyev, while Karen H. Grigoryan will face off against Levan Pantsulaya. Samvel Ter-Sahakyan's opponent will be Turkmen player Yusup Atabayev and Artashes Minasyan will play with Indian Srinat Narayanan.
