Will Sirusho give her apartment to the homeless?

On April 3, the Kremlin hosted Tashir 2011 Music Awards ceremony.

Tashir Awards are annually granted to singers, musicians and arts workers for their contributions to Armenian music.

This year, Tata Simonyan, Arman Hovhannisyan, Sirusho were given apartments in Yerevan. Lucina and Emmy were named the best singers of 2010 and given luxurious cars.

A special page called "Appeal to Armenian Starts" has opened on Facebook social network offering the singers to give their apartments to homeless people.

Over 157 people have joined the appeal which appeared on the net this night.

Those who watched yesterday's grandiose ceremony brought the most important news to their acquaintances in the morning.

"Have you heard the news? Sirusho has received an apartment?"
"Why? Didn't she have an apartment?" was the answer.

Sirusho, the daughter-in-law of Armenia's second President Robert Kocahrian, was awarded for making Armenian song popular in Europe.

Vladimir Arzumanyan, the winner of Junior Eurovision 2010, received an apartment by Multi Group Concern led by Gagik Tsarukyan. Garik Martirosyan was awarded as the best showman.

World-known celebrities including Lara Fabian, Toto Cutugno, Gipsygitanes were among the special invitees at the ceremony.

The awards ceremony is organized by Tashir Group (President Samvel Karapetyan). The ceremony was held for the sixth time.
