Robert Babayants passes away at 72
Robert Babayants, the chief trainer of the Ukrainian sambo team, died at the age of 72.
Throughout his life, Babayants trained and prepared numerous sportspeople and champions of Europe, USSR and world. Great was his contribution to the development of sambo in Armenia. Babayants helped the Armenian sambo federation with his useful advice and practical knowledge.
Everybody is deeply grieved by the untimely demise of the honoured trainer who was highly respected and appreciated in sports circles.
