The International Youth Judo Tournament in Tehran is over.

The Armenian team played quite well on the second day of the tournament after Garik Harutyunyan from Vanadzor and Seryozha Alexanyan from Gyumri came out to the finals for the 55 kg weight category.

Garik Harutyunyan won 1st place, while Artyusha Aydinyan won the bronze in the same weight category.

Gor Harutyunyan from Vanadzor (60 kg weight category) also didn't win in his weight category, while Arsen Tovmasyan from Yerevan won the 3rd spot.

David Ghazaryan from Vanadzor (66 kg weight category) scored the gold medal, while Vaspurak Mkrtchyan from Hrazdan (66 kg weight category) scored the bronze.

Hovhannes Serobyan scored the bronze medal after competing in the 73 kg weight category.

In total, the Armenian team scored 4 bronze, 2 silver and 3 gold medals.
