Sergey Movsisyan won
Armenian chess master Tigran L. Petrosyan tied a match with his Russian opponent Mikhail Kovila with black figures during the 2nd round of the major tournament part of the "Aeroflot Open" festival in Moscow. Sergey Movsisyan won Dmitry Bocharov, while Avetik Grigoryan tied the match with his Israeli opponent Emil Sutuvsky. Brazilian-Armenian chess master Grigor-Sevak Mkhitaryan tied the match in the 2nd match and has one point in his active as well.
Vietnamese player Kuam Li and Slovakian Luka Lenich were on top of the board with 2 points each after two rounds, followed by a large number of chess players who each earned 1.5 points. Among them are Tigran L. Petrosyan and Sergey Movsisyan.
The matches of the third round will take place today. Sergey Movsisyan will compete with his Russian opponent Denis Khismatulin, while Tigran L. Petrosyan will compete with Yevgeni Tomashevsky. Avetik Grigoryan's competitor will be Ukrainian chess player Anton Korobov.
